I mentioned in a previous post that I have tried making my own paper and elements for the first time. Scary I know! Well, one of the things that made it possible for me to do this was the free shapes and brushed for PhotoShop that I got at this site: http://www.obsidiandawn.com/
I wanted to have some cool snowflakes on the paper I was gonna make but I was at a lose on where to begin. So I went to google! This was one of the sites that I found and was perfect for what I needed. She has many different designs and themes on her site that are free downloads! What a generous person!! (You do need to credit her if you use her stuff). She also has tutorials on how to use and install the brushes. Plus, if you are not a PS user she has a download that you can get with the jpeg images to make brushes in whatever program you use!!
I would definitely suggest checking out her site if you want to add something extra to your layouts, make your own papers/elements, even to print cute images for other projects!

Ooooo...I wanna try making my own paper too, but don't think I'm good enough yet...LOL
ReplyDeleteIt really was not as hard as I thought (of course I did a pretty basic paper with a pattern on it from a stamp but...) If we have time I can show you what I did when we come in January. Or over the phone or chat works too!
